Han Yong Lim joined Miller in October 2016 to head up our Singapore Energy division, demonstrating our commitment to growing Miller’s energy business in Asia.

Han Yong brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at JLT Specialty and Marsh where he held roles as both a servicer and placement broker in all areas of energy business. In addition to his experience in Singapore, Han Yong spent an extended period working in Beijing where he focused on business development and servicing two of the oil majors present in China.

Prior to his career in insurance, Han Yong spent nine years in the Singapore Armed Forces rising to the rank of Captain in the Commandos. During his last tour, he served in the Special Operations Training Support Centre as the Officer Commanding of Static Line Wing. He also studied Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Han Yong joined us to broaden our energy offering across Asia, with direct access to Singapore markets and working closely with the London teams.
