Miller's Board and Group Executive Committee

Miller’s Board is ultimately responsible for the activities and governance of the partnership. Its Group Executive Committee develops and implements our strategy, and manages and oversees the running of the business under the leadership of CEO James Hands.

Chief Executive Officer

James became Chief Executive Officer in January 2023 and chairs Miller's Group Executive Committee. James joined Miller in 2015, leading our strategic development in the sports and leisure space, before becoming Head of Sports and Entertainment and Joint-Head of the Special Risks business unit in 2019. Between July 2022 - December 2022, James stepped into the role of Managing Director of Miller’s Marine & Energy and Special Risks business units.

Natacha Craven

Natacha Craven

Chief People and Communications Officer
Natacha joined Miller in May 2022 as Chief People and Communications Officer. In her role, Natacha is responsible for Miller’s market leading people strategy, driving a great employee experience and helping to build an inclusive culture. Natacha sits on our Group Executive Committee and also works with the wider London market to drive industry-wide HR initiatives forward.

MD, Miller UK

Tim is Managing Director of Miller's UK Division. Before this, he led Miller’s Delegated Authorities and Professional Risks business unit which provides risk and capacity solutions to a wide variety of clients on a global basis.

Neil Perry

Neil Perry

Chief Financial Officer
Neil is Miller’s Group Chief Financial Officer. Neil joined Miller in June 2022, bringing significant experience in the insurance industry from a range of leading insurers and brokers. Most recently, Neil held the position of Strategy and Development Director at a large wholesale speciality (re)insurance service provider.
Clare Lebecq

Chief Operating Officer
Clare is an accomplished insurance executive with over 35 years experience in the London insurance market. She is a collaborative leader and skilled change champion who has successfully lead a number of large broking firms such as JLT (now Marsh) and Specialist Risk Group, through transformational IT and operational efficiency programmes.

Chief Corporate and Legal Affairs Officer
Ben is Miller’s Chief Corporate and Legal Affairs Officer, guiding some of Miller’s major corporate and non-organic growth initiatives, as well as our legal and control framework.

Peter Catterall

Peter Catterall

Non-Executive Chairman

Peter joined the Board as a Non-Executive in March 2021 and was subsequently appointed as Chair of Miller's parent company, Ben Nevis Cleanco, in March 2024.


Greg Collins

Greg Collins

Non-Executive
Greg became Non-Executive Chairman in 2023, having previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer from 2017 - 2022. Greg joined Miller in 2004 to lead its professional risks business.  He was appointed to the Miller Board in 2007, became COO in 2011 and subsequently Deputy Chief Executive in 2016.

Non-Executive
Chris joined the Board as a Non-Executive in March 2021. Chris is a Managing Director and Head of GIC’s European Direct Investment Group with principle oversight for investments in the financial services and technology sectors. 
 
Raphael Tocquet

Raphael Tocquet

Non-Executive
Raphael joined the Board of Miller as a Non-Executive Director in March 2024. He is a Vice-President in the European Direct Investments Group at GIC where he oversees investments in the Financial Services and Healthcare sectors. Raphael joined GIC in 2015 having previously worked at J.P. Morgan in their investment banking division.
 
Dee Lehane

Dee Lehane

Independent Non Executive
Dee joined the Board in July 2024 and chairs the Remco. Dee was previously Global Managing Partner (Insurance) for Accenture. She currently has a portfolio of Independent Non-Executive roles in both private and public companies in Insurance. 
Karen Green

Karen Green

Independent NED and Senior Independent Director

Karen was appointed to the Miller Board in May 2021 and acts in the capacity of an Independent NED and Senior Independent Director. Karen also holds a number of senior positions at other financial services companies, including Admiral Group PLC and Phoenix Group Holdings PLC, and is a former Council Member of Lloyd’s of London.
