With growing expertise in the agricultural sector, Miller recently placed tailored cargo stock throughput (STP) cover for a US-based mushroom producer across their complex operations.
The insured’s needs
The Insured needed complete and seamless coverage for their complex supply chain including whilst the mushrooms were growing, international transit of temperature sensitive goods and backhauling third party cargo.
Our response
Miller, working with Lloyd’s markets were able to place a STP policy, tailored to the insured’s unique needs.
Covering goods whilst growing is a challenging risk to place given how limited the appetite is in the Cargo Market. However, working with open minded Underwriters Miller has recently placed a number of similar risks, including tailored cover for a large scale plant nursery.
