Greg Collins appointed sponsor of the LMG's Talent and Diversity workstream

Greg Collins, CEO of Miller, is the new Board sponsor for the London Market Group’s (LMG) Talent & Diversity workstream, as of 1 January 2020.  He replaces Matthew Wilson, Group CEO of Brit Insurance.

The LMG’s Talent & Diversity workstream exists to help the London insurance market build a diverse and dynamic workforce with the skills to ensure its future success.On his appointment, Greg commented; “I am honored to have the opportunity to support the already fantastic work being done by the LMG’s Talent & Diversity workstream. With our own Abby Cronin and Abbie Coates active London Insurance Life Ambassadors, we’ve seen first-hand the difference the LMG’s work has made to bringing in new and diverse talent to our industry.”

Miller’s D&O team recognised by market peers

The capabilities of Miller’s Directors’ and Officers’ (D&O) Liability team were strongly endorsed in a recent London market survey carried out by Insurance Insider. The Insider D&O Survey 2019 independently collated the thoughts of 437 underwriters and brokers, highlighting the best and brightest D&O professionals and teams in the London market.  

We’re delighted that:

  • Andy Brett was named the #2 D&O broker (out of 106 nominees) by underwriters with 20+ years’ experience in the London market 
  • Each underwriter nominated 3 brokers and Andy received 67% of the top choice votes
  • Miller was voted in the top 3 D&O broking houses
  • 4 of our brokers featured in the report
  • Recent joiner Harry Braysher was mentioned as a rising star

About the survey
The Insurance Insider D&O Rankings 2019 is the latest of an annual survey of talent in this specific class of business. The survey ran from 25 September to 1 November 2019 and was addressed exclusively to brokers and underwriters operating in D&O in the London market. It was a two-way survey by which underwriters nominated the best brokers and brokers nominated the best underwriters.
