Charles joined Miller in 2014 and has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry with knowledge in the development, production and placement of large corporate and global multinational risks.  
 
He began his career in 1984 at a large British insurance broker specialising in international wholesale business.  Following secondment to South Africa, Charles went on to manage and develop the liability book prior to setting up the Property and Casualty Wholesale division at a large wholesale broker in 2000.  As a Director of this group, Charles was involved in the sale of the business in 2009, following which he spent 5 years at a large global broker as head of the casualty division.
