Giovanni has an in-depth understanding of the fine art and specie insurance practice, having developed a high level of professional expertise in the negotiation and management of insurance contracts for complex risks, working over the years with large multinational galleries, important private collections, institutions, specialist shippers and high jewellery brands worldwide.

Giovanni has a strong academic background, with a BSc in finance and a MA in art business. After graduating, he trained at one of the top auction houses in London, working closely with various specialist departments. Prior to joining Miller, he worked for several years at an independent Lloyd's broker where he focused on large global programmes and bespoke insurance solutions.
