James’s main responsibilities revolve around providing analytical support on placements, for example, utilising the cat models or providing more bespoke analysis. He specialises in Property Cat Reinsurance and Retro business.

He started his career in insurance over 15 years ago, having worked at Apollo, TMK, and Mitsui before joining Miller.

James is a Certified Catastrophe Risk Management Professional (CCRMP) - a qualification issued by the International Society of Catastrophe Managers (ISCM).

In his spare time, James enjoying competing in triathlons and marathons, and playing Gaelic football.
