He joined Miller in 2021 having worked at a leading global broker for seven years in London and Tokyo where he was part of the Facultative team focusing on Japanese cedant facultative business. Onno also worked for the Dutch Foreign Service and was posted to Tokyo for three years.

He has an MA in Japanese Studies. In his spare time he likes to travel and spend time with his children.
