He supports the development of Miller’s broking teams, with a particular focus on optimal risk advice and insight into how client needs can be best reconciled with the requirements of the underwriter.

During a career spanning over four decades, Peter has led direct and reinsurance marine broking teams, as well as marine underwriting teams in the company and Lloyd’s markets. 

He is a past Chairman of the Joint Hull Committee and also a past member of the IUMI Ocean Hull Committee. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and is a current member of the Insurance Institute of London’s  marine committee. Peter is an accredited speaker for the Chartered Insurance Institute and has lectured at IUMI and other conferences.
