Ruben is a Catastrophe Analyst working within the Delegated Authorities team at Miller, specialising in modelling and analytics. His primary focus is on the Delegated Authorities market, particularly in the US, where he collaborates with brokers to deliver data and insights to support catastrophe risk assessment needs.

With over two months at Miller and prior experience in a similar role at a Lloyd's syndicate, the transition from syndicate to broker has been a welcome challenge for Ruben, enabling him to broaden his industry expertise. He also brings a strong background in coding, particularly in Python, which allows him to automate and streamline processes such as data cleansing and processing. Ruben holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science and continuously adapts these skills to meet the evolving demands of the insurance industry.

Outside of work, Ruben is an avid gym-goer, having started weightlifting in his teens. He is also an enthusiastic sports fan, spending most weekends watching football or boxing. Ruben rarely passes up the opportunity to attend live boxing, especially when major events come to London.
