Debbie started her career in law, spending the majority of her private practice career at Clyde & Co, before moving to a claims/legal role at a leading insurance provider in 2014. Debbie’s passion in cyber resulted in her transitioning into an underwriting/product lead role with EmergIn Risk (an MGA specialising in large complex cyber risk) at its inception in 2016 before going on to lead its London unit from 2018. 

Being recognised as one of the leaders within the cyber insurance market, Debbie regularly speaks on industry panels across the globe and is often asked to comment in articles for a number of insurance journals.
