His role will predominantly focus on servicing client accounts, liaising with underwriters, and facilitating the placing process.

This is Matthew’s first role in insurance after transitioning into the sector from the British Army. Matthew previously completed 12 months of rotating work experience with Miller and Lloyd’s syndicates, before moving full-time to insurance at Miller in 2024.

He most recently spent 13 years in the Parachute Regiment of the British Army. Between 2015-17, he was also Maritime Security Team Leader and then Senior Operations Officer at Clearwater Dynamics. 

Matthew holds the CII Level 3 Award in London Market Insurance.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoys keeping active with running, triathlon, and BJJ Brazilian Jujitsu.
