He will be working with clients on a direct basis (contractors and owners), as well as on a wholesale basis with specialist brokers who need assistance from the London and international insurance markets. Key geographies will include USA, Canada, LATAM, Middle East, Australia, Asia and Europe.

Steve's expertise lie in a variety of areas including heavy civil engineering (underground works, wet civils, major developments) placements, annual construction programmes for contractors and owners, highly exposed CAT risks, programme driven solutions, and structured reinsurance, to name a few.

Steve began his career at Aon, focusing on Project Finance Initiative (PPP) projects. He then joined Heath Lambert, expanding into European PPP projects as well as UK ones. He then moved to JLT to focus on larger and more challenging construction projects within their international civil engineering team followed by a move to Lockton before joining Miller in 2024.

In his spare time, Steve coaches youth football and rugby, and enjoys spending time with his family and dog.
