Pene has almost 20 years’ experience in the Marine market. Before joining Miller, Pene was UK Head of Marine Liability at AIG. He has also held Marine underwriting roles at Allied World, RSA and IAG, as well as working at the Shipowners' Club.

His appointment is part of the Marine team’s continued growth ambition as it broadens its offering and client base. Pene will focus on the Marine team’s P&I Club client relationships and contribute to new business growth as the team’s expertise expands.
