The PFAA is the professional body that represents the interests of senior administrators at Premier League, Sky Bet Championship and Sky Bet Leagues 1 and 2 clubs.

As part of the agreement, PFAA members will have access to specialist risk management advice tailored to their specific needs from Miller’s dedicated sports insurance broking team.

Supporting the Certificate in Professional Management & Administration

Miller, as part of the agreement, also becomes the new partner of the Certificate in Professional Management & Administration. The qualification is run in conjunction with the Lawrie McMenemy Centre for Football Research at Southampton Solent University and is recognised as the ‘industry-standard qualification’ for professional football administrators.

To date, the Certificate has been studied for by representatives from FIFA, the Football Association, the Premier League, the English Football League and more than half of the country’s professional football clubs.

It was formed in August 2007 when the Football Administrators Association (FAA) merged with the Commercial & Marketing Managers Association (CMMA).

This amalgamation was designed to reflect the changes in the Commercial, Marketing and Administrative departments within clubs.

The PFAA is one of two constituent associations (along with the Professional Coaches Association (PFCA)) of the Institute of Football Management and Administration (IFMA).
