The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB) is the premier association for the leading commercial insurance and employee benefits intermediaries globally. Members are responsible for placing 85% of US P&C premiums annually. Non-US firms account for 20% of the total membership.
At the recent board meeting, which was held at the annual CIAB Insurance Leadership Forum meeting in Colorado Springs, John Eltham, Head of Commercial Strategy & Distribution at Miller, was elected to the Board of Directors. His term of office will start from January 1st, 2023. John has previously chaired the CIAB International Working Group, and he is currently co-chair of Lloyd’s North American Broker Academy. Miller Chairman Graham Clarke has also previously served terms on the CIAB Board.
